The 170 Sound & Crack Isolation Mat is a high-performance underlayment engineered to reduce noise transfer and protect tile and stone finishes from substrate movement. Available in multiple thicknesses in both roll and lightweight sheet formats, this versatile sound deadening mat provides flexible solutions for a wide range of project needs. The precision-cut sheet format ensures consistent sizing, while beveled edges create cleaner, tighter seams with guided alignment. Sheets lay flat immediately with no curling or acclimation time for a superior installation experience.
With up to 94% post-consumer recycled content, USA manufacturing, and a 25-year system warranty, it delivers a sustainable, high-performance solution for commercial and residential flooring applications. For complete edge isolation, a Perimeter Isolation Strip is also available to help reduce flanking noise and break the vibration transmission path between the floor and adjacent walls.
