Product Overview
SC500-PLUS is a fire-rated, high-performance low-alkali cement-based self-leveling underlayment for large-scale new or existing interior projects, allowing floor coverings in just 16 hours. Designed for use with SUPERCAP high-volume pumping equipment, 30,000 lbs (13,607 kg) can be pumped in as little as 1 hour up to 3 inches (76 mm) in a single lift and is walkable in 1 to 3 hours, reducing overall project time and cost. A solution for fire-rated construction, SUPERCAP SC500-PLUS is UL-certified for fire resistance for up to 2 hours in fire-rated floor-to-ceiling assemblies. Its faster cure times, superior durability, and direct compatibility with adhesives make it a high-performance alternative to traditional gypsum underlayments.
When applied over concrete, gypsum, exterior glue plywood, and other substrates, it produces a smooth, level surface perfect for hardwood, resilient flooring, cork, ceramic, stone, carpet, and more.

- Finished floor goods may be installed as soon as 1 day after application, subject to thickness, drying conditions and type of flooring materials.
- Surface is walkable in 1 to 3 hours and may be open to wheel traffic within 72 hours at 70°F (21°C).
- Can be left open to normal trade’s traffic for up to 12 months prior to installation of floor coverings.
- Inorganic formulation will not contribute to or harbor growth of mold or mildew.
